About Banshee

Sean Cassidy began life as the heir to an Irish forutne, and a castle bearing his name. He became an agent of Interpol shortly after graduation.

While he was away on a mission, and not allowed contact with his family, his wife gave birth to a baby girl. His wife was killed shortly after, & relatives, believing the child had been killed as well never told of Sean of her existance.

Over time, after many trials and tribulations, he became a member of the X-Men, and a teacher at the Xavier Institute.

Only later did her discover that his daughter lived, and had, in fact been spirited away by his very cousin, Black Tom. Theresa Cassidy grew up to become the mutant known as Siryn.

Banshee's powers include a sonic scream that can disintegrate solid objects. This scream also gives Sean the power of flight, propelled by the waves of sound.
