Would Toad have hurt Jean even more if Storm did not get involved from X1?

He probably would have just scampered away to take out the other team members, thinking she was pretty much down for the count and would end up suffocating to death.

I don't know. I wish I did. I would like to see her return to Earth 616, in a monthly series in some form or another. & Preferably not any of the following: dead, insane, a doppelganger or a clone. Just good old Jean, back again, for at least a while.

This is a dumb question but New X-Men kinda confused me. I love Grant Morrison for reconnecting Jean with the Phoenix, but my question is did she achieve her ultimate potential and actually become a Phoenix, or was she connected to Phoenix again bc she touched it during the Celestial battle thingy when she and Mystique were on the same team (around the Search for Cyclops days)?

I'm going to have to go back and re-read some issues to be able to answer that one. I'll respond as soon as I've read. ;)

When did Jean manipulate molecules without the Phoenix? Its seems to me she only does it when the Phoenix is bonded to her, and when it isn't, it doesn't seem to work (like when she tried to slow down the air molecules on Asteroid M).

Aren't you sick of the Green, and the White Phoenix outfit? I am. I liked her blue and yellow-orange costume from the 90s, and the red and gold one when she and Cable killed Apocalypse and saved Cyclops. I think she needs a new look. I think red suits her personality better than green. You?

The red costume signifies that Dark Phoenix is the being in control. The green costume shows that Jean Grey is the one running the show. The white costume is when the two of them are working in unison.
But yeah, I think she LOOKS best in the red outfit.

whats the idea for jean being killed by wolverine in x men 3. is that a sight for sore eyes?

Actually, Wolverine is the one who has to kill Jean on several occasions. Once as they approached the sun together on an out of control space station, and again (sort of) in the Endsong mini. The movie just played on that framework.

In Cable 5 page 3, did anyone else notice that when Cable destroyed cerebra to keep bishop from tracking him and the red head green eyed baby(the first mutant child born since M-Day). The relextion of the explosions in the baby's eyes was the Pheonix Force Avatar? Do you think the baby is actuall Jean Grey reborn

Did you know that Chris Claremont originally planned on Ms. Marvel being Phoenix? That makes me REALLY sad...no one at Marvel likes her especially now.

I'm glad they went with Jean instead! Yeah, I'm a little irritated with Ms Marvel myself (not a big supporter of the registration act myself).

In X-Men 1. Why did Jean not see Toad's slime attack coming?

If she wasn't actively scanning his mind, she wouldn't have 'seen' it coming, she wasn't very well trained in actual combat yet either, had no experience fighting Toad, didn't know what he was capable of.

Why is it that Phoenix (Jean Grey) won't rise form death the moment she is killed? And why is it that she still dies even though she hosted the Phoenix Force, the prime manifestation of life?

Because Jean's body is human, as far as I can tell. And so, the Phoenix needs time to 'repair' or 'fix' the death, it is forced to work within the constraints of human form. Maybe? Sounds good?

I do not have an answer to that. I'm sure, that at some point in time, Marvel will decide to bring Jean back in some form or another. when they will decide to do that, is anybody's guess.
