Psylocke Biography - Alternate Universe
Days of Future Past - Excalibur
In this story Psylocke has gone underground fighting the Black Air which a British
security service which is ruling the country. She is part of the Excalibur team
which is sent to rescue Douglock from the Black Air. During this mission they
encounter techno-organic Brood replicas and a neural linked brain-lock. Using
one of her psychic blades she opens the lock only to end up trapped with her
team, what happens to them after this is not known. - Bio Contributed by Josh
Days of Future Past - Wolverine
In this future Psylocke is seen as a hooded female who gets a surprise attack
on Wolverine and destroys his consciousness, it isn’t until the end of
this comic do you see who the woman is. She is now the Red Queen of the Hellfire
club and works along side Shinobi Shaw. She once again shows that old loyalties
are gone as they watch a captured Scarlet Witch. While he is bragging about
world domination she is quick to remind him that it is all thanks to her and
they will rule the world side by side. It is at this point that Psylocke feels
the backlash of Emma Frost helping Wolverine. Her first counter-measure is to
hire Midnight to take out Wolverine. (what happens is not part of the story
I’m telling) When next the story continues for her Magneto is making his
way into the base. When Betsy senses that there is a traitor among them she
stuns a worker with her psychic knife. She is later pleased to find that the
worker is really Jubilee. Before she can finish the job a combination of Synch
and Leech disable her mutant powers and Wolverine knocks her out. He credits
this to the fact that her martial arts skills are a bit rusty. Her story here
ends with Emma saying she will be returned to England after rehabilitation. - Bio Contributed by Josh
Age of Apocalypse
Betsy did not appear in the original AoA story she did appear in a follow up
made for it. In this Betsy is a ninja and an old friend of weapon x. She likes
the shadows but she doesn’t carry the crimson dawn mark. Nobody knows
for sure if this is Betsy when she is English, if it is Kwannon or if she just
changed her appearance to doge her brother and the others who want to wipe out
all mutant life. - Bio Contributed by Josh
Ultimate Psylocke
Psylocke made a short appearance in the ultimate x-men comics. During the world
tour story they stop in the UK where they encounter with Xavier’s son
David (Proteus). Agent Braddock is sent in to help out with the situation with
Agent Dai Thomas. During this Thomas is killed and Betsy is possessed by David
who attacks Xavier and the x-men. He might have won if he was not “squatting
in the mind of the most powerful psychic in England” she restrains him
long enough to plead to Xavier to kill her. When he refuses to Colossus drops
a car on her killing both. At the end of this story it is found out that Betsy’s
mind somehow ended up in the body of a comatose asian girl by the name of Kwannon.
This is seen as a blessing as she says she has never felt better. She then goes
on to say that she is helping to build the British version of SHIELD called
STRIKE. - Bio Contributed by Josh
Animated - X-Men
Psylocke had a short appearance in the old X-men carton show. She is a thief who attempts to steal from Angel. She only appears in the one scene. - Bio Contributed by Josh
Film - X-Men 3
Psylocke is one of what an only be described as the morlocks. She uses her shadow abilities and that is all. She is later killed when Phoenix loses control and kills several mutants. There is also a false rumour that she uses her blades in a deleted scene. - Bio Contributed by Josh
Video Games
Psylocke appeared in X-men 2 clone wars for the Mega drive/genesis. Her fighting style makes her one of the best characters for close range combat as she has a 1 hit kill attack.
She then appeared in mutant academy with Betsy being an alternate costume. Which kind of sword she uses depends on which costume you get.
She also made a appearance in X-men legends. You unlock her during the sentinel attack. Her attacks include simple sword attacks as well as throwing her daggers to stun and harm enemies. Also if you read the instruction book you can read the opening stages of the attack from Psylocke point of view. Unfortunately she was cut out of the second one. - Bio Contributed by Josh
