I make soap, lots of wonderful, soothing, bubbly, moisturizing soap! Farmers Apothecary is my homemade soap company (have you ever tried a bar of handmade soap? It is sooo much better than commercial soap. Try it! You’ll never buy another bar of commercial soap again!) My skin can’t handle the commercial detergent soap, I gotta have MY soap. I also make lotions, fizzies, gels, and other bath potions in all sorts of colors and scents. Check it out.

AIX Goes 3-D (Posted 3/4/2009)

Threshold Entertainment, Platinum Studios and Top Cow Prods. have joined forces to adapt the Top Cow comic “Aphrodite IX” into a 3-D feature film. The comic centers on a cyborg assassin who achieves self-awareness and begins searching for her origins. Producers are looking for the female lead.

Threshold’s Larry Kasanoff and Platinum chairman and CEO Scott Mitchell Rosenberg are producing. Top Cow CEO Marc Silvestri and former Universal Pictures exec Randy Greenberg of the Greenberg Group are execu¬tive producers. Top Cow president Matt Hawkins and Platinum’s Rich Marincic are co-producing.

“This is just the kind of franchise we love: a visually stunning world, amazing effects, a great story and a hot, kick-ass babe in the lead,” Kasanoff said. “What could be better?”

Comic Candy, the hugemoungous comic book image gallery and news site that I run (and also the site I upload all the images and other things found on this site to), has gotten into trouble this month for being a big pig.

It used too many resources for the hosting plan I was on and had to be moved to a semi-dedicated server (which has put me into a bit of sticker shock…). So, as much as I hate begging for money via the internet, I will in order to keep my various sites online. If you enjoy any of my sites, please consider a donation by paypal to them, no amount is too small, and every donation is greatly appreciated!

Updates Now Powered… (Posted )

by Wordpress. I have decided to use Wordpress to help me add updates and news to my collective of Fanlistings. I looked at various other scripts and none of them seemed to work as well as a bit of creative WP useage, comments are activated for all news stories too.

Hopefully this will make it quicker & easier on me to add new updates, news, press releases, etc.
