Welcome to X-Man, the Fanlisting for the Marvel Comics character Charles Xavier, or Professor X, if you prefer. This Fanlisting covers the three most popular aspects of Xavier: animated, book/movie, and comic book versions.
What is a Fanlisting you ask?
A Fanlisting is, very simply put, a gathering & listing of the many fans of a particular thing. It started with one woman's quest to join together the fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and has grown into a huge collection of sites for nearly any fandom under the sun.
Who is Charles Xavier?
Professor Charles Xavier is the founder and leader of the X-men. He is a great teacher and champion of causes both mutant and human alike, Xavier, above all else, dreams of a peaceful coexistance between mutant and human. This often puts him at odds with mutants such as Magneto, who seek to dominate mankind. Charles is a telepath, one of the universe's most powerful, yet he never uses these powers for ill. He is hero. The original X-Man.

Several of everyone’s favorite merry mutants will be featured in the new X-title, X-Men Forever, written by Chris Claremont. X-Men Forever picks up right where Claremont’s 90’s run left off, with X-Men #3. Anything goes in this reboot too since it is a totally separate reality/time line from current Marvel events, so you never know who will make an appearance.

Fans of Ultimate Fantastic Four and Ultimate X-Men, however, will be disappointed to hear confirmation of the popular rumor/fact that both books are being canceled. “Following issue #60 of Ultimate Fantastic Four and issue #100 of Ultimate X-Men, I believe those books will go dark. After that we’re reformulating our plans in light of Ultimatum. As to what happens to UFF and UXM, we have some thoughts, but nothing I’d like to mention just yet.
Comic Candy, the hugemoungous comic book image gallery and news site that I run (and also the site I upload all the images and other things found on this site to), has gotten into trouble this month for being a big pig.
It used too many resources for the hosting plan I was on and had to be moved to a semi-dedicated server (which has put me into a bit of sticker shock…). So, as much as I hate begging for money via the internet, I will in order to keep my various sites online. If you enjoy any of my sites, please consider a donation by paypal to them, no amount is too small, and every donation is greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance, and hopefully no one is too offended by my fundraising efforts.
by Wordpress. I have decided to use Wordpress to help me add updates and news to my collective of Fanlistings. I looked at various other scripts and none of them seemed to work as well as a bit of creative WP useage, comments are activated for all news stories too.
Hopefully this will make it quicker & easier on me to add new updates, news, press releases, etc.
In an odd turn of events, it appears that Marvel’s Decimation (M Day) has stolen the powers of one Charles Xavier, leaving him a homo sapien along with most of the planet’s other former mutants. He can now be seen the the story line “The Rise and Fall of the Shi-ar Empire” taking place in Uncanny X-Men.
Poor Charley, he’s sure been having a rough time lately…killed in X3, depowered in the comics…
